Problem:

I am not able to use my browser to pull up the Management Console.  Initially it was working.  Replication may or may not be functional.

Solution:

1. Check your services list and ensure that "FRP Helper Service" and the "FRP Config Mgmt Server" have both started. You may want to restart the services, first by restarting the Helper Service, then stopping the Mgmt Server, waiting one minute and then starting it again.
1a. A good way to check if the Management Service has started correctly is to go to a command prompt and run "Netstat -an" and check to see if port 9100 is listening. Port 9100 is the port that the FRP Config Mgmt Server is configured to listen to. If it is listening, then it has started. If it is not listening, then the service has not started properly and you should restart the services as indicated above.
1b. Please refer to the following article for more detailed information: FogBugz: FRP Network Protocols and Ports Used
2. If the service is listening but your browser does not allow you to access the site, if you running Windows Server 2003, Internet Explorer is set to only browse to trusted sites. To add the site to your trusted sites:
    2a. Go to Tools/Internet Options/Security/Trusted Sites
2b. Click on Sites and make sure the entire URL http://YOURURL:9100/ is listed in the trusted sites.
3. A common cause for a console failure can also be related to a java heap memory issue.  This will occur if there are many jobs running with a great deal of replication activity over a short period of time.  Increasing the memory settings will resolve the issue.
3a. Please refer to article: Memory Allocation  for more detailed information.
4. Run the FRPnet utility [ Details ]
