Unable to rename files during replication

Problem:

I have a slow connection or bandwidth throttling enabled. My file replicates slowly. During the replication process, our application tries to rename the file and is unable to do so.

Solution:

FRP does not currently provide an option to replicate based on a snapshot. Replicating a snapshot would allow FRP to replicate without interfering with your application and your application would not interfer with FRP.

Until this feature is implemented, please follow the given suggestions:

Option #1. Use a double level replication:

Setup a job to replicate from the active user folder to a second LOCAL folder (no throttling) and use this local folder as a source for the the low b/w replication over the network.

Job #1: Source=local-host C:WORKDRAWINGS , Target=local-host C:TO-BE_REPLICATED
Job #2: Source=localhost C:TO-BE-REPLICATED, Target=remote-host folder

Option #2: Use manual replication type:

Setup your job as job type "Run immediately". Use your application to modify the file. Whenever, you want to replicate, use the run now button to manually perform the replication.

Option #3: Use job scheduling:

Setup your jobs as repeating 0 interval. Set the except time and duration so that no replication takes place during the time that you work on your files (i.e. day hours). After the except time is over, all your changed files for that job will replicate.
