There is a great open source utility for windows on Git Hub that permits one to tail logs on windows machines in the same fashion as if on Linux. It's called SnakeTail, It has many great features including the ability to highlight lines of text in the tailed log according to your key words and by color in real time. Making it very easy to spot specific activity such as Errors, File Sent, File Received, or perhaps while looking for activity on a specific file or file type during replication.
