Problem:

I have been using FRP for quite a while.
I have changed the IP of my server, what should I do in order to make FRP know of the new IP?

Solution:

Automatic server discovery:
If the servers were setup per default settings all you should do is to restart FRP services on the particular machine. If your servers are defined by machine name restarting the FRP services will find the new IP address.
Note that it should take a 30-60 seconds for all other machines where FRP is installed to be notified about the change. During this time some replication jobs may fail.

Manual server definitions:
Servers that have been manualy entered in the Management console will have to be reconfigured with the changed IP address.
1. In the management console click on the Server Overview tab
2. Select the desired server to change the IP address for.
3. Click Edit Server
4. Change the IP address.
5. Restart FRP services on all servers.
