Problem:

I want to add the license key to a remote server. When I click on edit server, I get the message "Only local servers' properties may be edited". I was able to license my local servers this way.

Solution:

You can add a license to a remote server in one of two ways:

1. Each server carries a file called .key in the etc folder. This is a text file containing the license key. On the remote server, create the .key file and open it in any text editor. Copy the license key text from the registation email that was sent to you. Paste the text in the .key file and save the file.

2.
  A. In the management console select the Server Overview tab.
  B. Select the desired server and click Edit Server.
  C. Paste the license key number, sent to you in your e-mail, into the "Licnese Key:" field
  D. Click Save (you may have to re-sync the password settings at this time.
  E. Restart the FRP Helper and Config Mgmt Server services.
