There are a number of reasons the service may refuse or fail to start.

1.  The machine doesn't not have at least 2GB of free Physical Ram memory.

2.  You may have not installed the correct version for your machine  IE:  32 vs. 64 bit.

3.  Your machine may not have a Java Virtual Machine installed and you attempted to install the NoVM version of FRP.   In this case you may see the error    FRPReplicationServer service terminated with service-specific error Incorrect function  the fix is to uninstall FRP and download and install the version of FRP for your machine that includes a Java Virtual Machine  (VM).

4.  Your machine does not have .Net 3.5 or higher installed.

5. If you upgraded, you did not run the uninstaller for FRP first before running the new install.
